MARCH, MONTH OF PROPHECY
“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.” 1COR 14:1
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy….”ACT 2:17
Beloved, I welcome you into the month of March. This month, your life shall make meaningful and impactful progress. You will experience the glory realm of God, in Jesus mighty name.
This month has been declared the month of Prophecy, where deep secrets shall be reveal, long term problems shall be solved and their shall be impartation of the Gift of prophecy.
The Greek rendering of the word prophecy is propheteia. It means a discourse emanating from divine inspiration and declaring the purposes of God, whether by reproving and admonishing the wicked, or comforting the afflicted or revealing things hidden; especially by foretelling future events.
THE POWER OF THE PROPHETIC
“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD…. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.” Ezekiel 37:3, 4, 10, 11.
What do you do in a seemly hopeless situation, for which you have prayed and fasted yet defies your prayer and fasting. In a most difficult battle in Matthew 17:21, Jesus said “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” But what of situations where you have fasted with no solution in view?
The answer is not farfetched. You need a prophet. When the situation above failed, the came to Prophet Jesus. You may say, “But I have seen different prophets, yet the problem persisted.” Wait a minute. In my meditations, the Lord revealed to me two kinds of prophets. If one failed to get the answer, the second one has never failed.
These two kinds of prophets are (1) sent prophets (2) You.
SENT PROPHETS:-these are messengers of God specially positioned for you at a cross road in your life. “….Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2chron20:20. “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7. Prophets are custodians of divine secrets. All through the bible we saw prophets bringing divine words for divine solutions. A case study is Naaman, in 2kings5. He was a great man with leprosy. It took a prophetic intervention.
YOU: - this I know will amaze many of you. You may ask, “how can I be a prophet to my problem, yet nothing has changed with all efforts made?” well, the simple answer is this. First you did not know. Then any method that did not produce over a period of time is not reliable. There is only one thing that makes you a qualified prophet. The word of God under the inspiration of His Spirit. “….for he hath said… So that we may boldly say…”Hebrew 13:5, 6. Speaking the reveal words of God over your situation makes you a prophet. “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” Luke 21:15. Note that, the Bible is the testimony of Jesus, and when spoken, confessed and declared, it releases the Spirit of prophecy. “….for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10. Whatever the Lord has done for you in Christ has to be confessed in faith to become a reality in your life. “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;” Psalms 107:2. Are you redeemed from the curse, death, sickness, poverty, failure, and setback? Say so! Are you blessed, rich, justified, and healed and delivered? Say so! If the problem persist inspite of prayers, fasting, vigils etc, switch to talking the word of God about the situation.
APPLICATION
